Drusilla Blackman is Vice President of Enrollment Management at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). In this position, she is responsible for the planning and execution of strategies relating to the college's admissions recruitment process.
Prior to joining the CIA administration in 2002, Ms. Blackman was Director of Admissions at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ. She has served as Dean of Undergraduate Admissions and Assistant Director of Admissions at Columbia University and as the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Harvard University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
From 1995-1998, Ms. Blackman was president of the Vanguard Consulting Group in Montclair, NJ, a firm which provided enrollment planning and strategic marketing for higher education. Her clients included the University of Minnesota, Savannah State College, American University of Paris, and the Council of New York State Colleges.
Drusilla Blackman holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, was a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Yale University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in biology from Brown University.
She is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors; National Association of International Educators; National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators; and National Association of College Deans, Registrars and Admissions Officers.
