Dwight Hawksworth, President of A. D. & Associates Executive Search, Inc. is a business generalist who has been successful in executive recruiting in a wide range of industries and functional disciplines for over 15 years. A.D.&A. is a generalist firm committed to excellence and champions human importance. Prior to establishing A.D.&A., Dwight held various corporate officer positions at Contel Credit, a $470 million subsidiary of the Contel Corporation, First National Bank of Maryland and ITT. He began his telecom career in a Bell System Operating Company, C.&P. Telephone Company of Maryland in the IMDP program. In 1989, Dwight and two partners created Sigma Consulting Group, or SCG to provide high- quality, professional services to the commercial and governmental market sectors, emphasizing effective resource utilization. The Star program was created. In addition to his private sector experience, Dwight served as a senior tax official in Wisconsin, Florida and Georgia having become the first outside person to be competitively selected into a premier management development program in the federal government.
