Dwight Thompson is Chief Financial Officer for the Obligated Group and Affiliated Corporations. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and has a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Thompson is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and a Fellow in the Health Care Financial Management Association ("FHFMA"). He has been with Altru since 1982, serving in several financial positions. He is a past member of the national board of directors of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and is active in the North Dakota and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer and board member for Altru Specialty Services. Mr. Thompson is active in a number community activities. He was raised in Velva, North Dakota, before leaving for four years of service with U.S. Coast Guard. |
