Prior to joining Forest Hill, Earl was President of ThyssenKrupp Budd�s (TKB�s) North American Chassis and Systems Business consisting of eight locations with 3,500 employees and just under $1 billion in annual revenue, and also served as President and Chairman of the Board of ThyssenKrupp Budd Canada, a publicly traded entity. During Earl�s 24 years with TKB, Earl was involved with virtually all areas of the Company, ranging from stamping and assembly operations to resin transfer molding (RTM) and sheet molded compounds (SMC). Earl started out as a mechanical engineer working in advanced products utilizing both plastic and metal materials to develop new automotive and non automotive applications which lead to a number of patented materials and products. Earl went to head up the product engineering and development activity for TKC as well as spearheaded TKB�s move into modular assembly through a joint venture with Visteon (formally Ford Automotive Parts Group). Earl received an Executive MBA from Dartmouth University (Tuck School of Business). |
