Earl Scudder is acting as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer, a position with company-wide oversight responsibility, which he will hold until his successor is appointed. Since 1990, he has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Scudder Law Firm, P.C. He previously was a partner with Nelson & Harding (Chairman and CEO 1980-1988) between 1968 and 1989. Mr. Scudder has been a member of the boards of directors of Swift Transportation (1993-2005), Heartland Express (1986-1996), Simon Transportation (2000-2002), and Central Freight Lines (1997-2003), and currently serves as a member of the boards of Central Refrigerated Service (2002-present), Truckload Carriers Association (2003-present), Nebraska Investment Council (2002-present), and WareOnEarth Communications (2003-present). Mr. Scudder is admitted to practice law in Arizona, District of Columbia, Iowa, Nebraska, and Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Juris Doctor Degrees.
