Ed has over 25 years experience in the computer technology industry, including the last 14 in the document management field. His primary passion has been building startup technology firms. He began his career selling apple computers in 1981, followed by co-founding Network Resources, a company later sold to a Kleiner, Perkins backed venture. Ed worked as a territory manager for Cisco Systems for two years before starting a document imaging practice for Accudata Systems in 1992. He founded iKAN Software in 1999 with partner Micah Wray. Ed holds degrees in Business Administration and Russian Area Studies from Wittenberg University. In his spare time, Ed enjoys playing tennis, guitar, and is involved with several charitable organizations around Houston. Currently, Ed serves as President of the Southwest Chapter of AIIM, the Enterprise Content Management Association (www.aiim.org). |
