Mr. Armstrong has practiced law with the local law firm of Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel and Burns, LLP since 1982. He is a shareholder as well. His practice there has been comprised primarily of representing clients involved in complex land use matters and governmental relations. Mr. Armstrong was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982 after earning his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in that same year. His current civic responsibilities include membership on the Morton Plant Mease Hospital Board of Trustees since 2005 and participation in the Pinellas County Economic Development Task Force since 2000. He has also been Chairman of the Clearwater regional Chamber of Commerce (in 2000), participated in the Pinellas County Charter Review Committee (in 1998 and 2004) and was the Annexation Task Force Chairman of the Pinellas Assembly (in 2003). |
