Ed Daniels was appointed Vice President, Catalyst with Shell Global Solutions Inc. in 2006. Among his priorities are the continuing safety drive at CRI/Criterion and working to get the best from all of its people, while ensuring that the division�s cost base remains competitive.
Ed obtained his Shell UK-sponsored MEng degree in chemical engineering at Imperial College, London. This was followed by an MBA at Henley Management College, UK.
He joined Shell International Oil products in 1988 as a technologist before moving on as Technical Auditor and Business Economist. Since 1996 he has taken on a variety of sales, marketing, business development and consultancy roles. More recently, Ed was Team Leader for Business Development Consultancy, where he was responsible for developing and directing consultancy projects across the Oil Products marketing businesses, primarily in the East Zone, but also globally.
Before taking up the vice presidency, he was General Manager for Base Oil and Waxes in the Global Lubricants business, leading a global team with a P&L responsibility for manufacturing, supply, sales and trading of base oil |
