Mr. Gaj joined NUCRYST in June 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Development. He leads NUCRYST's corporate partnering initiatives, strategic planning, corporate communications and patent portfolio management.
Since 1998, Mr. Gaj held a series of progressively senior positions at Anika Therapeutics, including Director and Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development and most recently, Franchise Direcor, Aesthetics. Mr. Gaj has considerable knowledge and experience developing licensing and commercialization strategies, structuring and negotiating agreements, and running all aspects of a key business unit.
Previously, Mr. Gaj was with B&E Consulting, where he was responsible for new business opportunity assessment and development for clients. He also held positions at Immunologic Pharmaceutical Corp., Biogen, Alpha Therapeutics Corp., and Lederle Laboratories. He started his career as an oncology pharmacist at the New England Deaconess Hospital and a staff pharmacist at the Lahey Clinic.
Mr. Gaj earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and is a registered pharmacist. |
