Ed has 18 years of experience building computer software, with specific expertise in digital media, user-interface design, handheld applications and web/Internet technologies. True to the nature of most engineers, he is happiest late at night in front of multiple screens solving problems that make others shrink. He has designed and developed applications for eMotion, Inc., e-motion, Visioneer, Slate Corp., and Symantec. At eMotion, Ed was the Architect and Senior Developer of MediaPartner Workgroup, was co-author of the Viewer's patented collaboration technology and was responsible for a handheld version of the application. Ed's experience with user-interface design ranges from the earliest days of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems to the latest desktop and web-based techniques. Ed holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. |
