Ed Shnayder is VP of Engineering at OILspace. Ed leads a talented team of developers in advancing the evolution of OILspace's portfolio of software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings. He plays a key role in licensing, acquiring and building the technologies that will take the company forward into new applications and market areas. OILspace's services-oriented-architecture (SOA) is already a generation ahead of traditional client server applications. Ed has a more than 20-year track record in the software business, most recently as principal applications architect and director of strategic projects at Vitria Technology where he spent nine years working with Fortune 500 customers. Prior to that, he was principal architect at TIBCO (Teknekron) working on distributed and real time systems, and held senior positions at Thompson Financial and Computran. Ed holds MSc degrees in computer science and applied mathematics. |
