Ed joined ECCO in 1985 as Marketing Manager. Since then Ed has made many contributions to the growing company. As VP of Sales and Marketing, Ed implemented a sales and marketing plan that has enabled ECCO to achieve and maintain a 40% per year increase in sales revenues. In 1993 Ed was named President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1999 he became Chief Executive Officer.Prior to joining ECCO, Ed was the Olympic Coordinator for the USA Gymnastics team, and Head Gymnastics coach at University of Washington and Boise State University. Before starting his coaching career, he was in sales and marketing management and new product development for Porter Equipment Company in Chicago. Ed graduated from University of Illinois - Chicago in 1973. Ed is Past-President of the Transportation Safety and Equipment Institute (TSEI). He served on the Board of Directors of the Council of Fleet Specialists, was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), and is a member of the Automotive President's Council of MEMA. He is actively involved in the Boise community as a member of the Board of Directors for the BSU Foundation and Ballet Idaho, and chaired the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial project in Boise.Ed and his wife, Amy, reside in Boise. They have two children. |
