Ed Fields, 68, is a professional mineral resource geologist with over forty years of demonstrated leadership in mineral exploration including several successful mineral discoveries, extensive experience in conducting and evaluating mineral deposits in a variety of geological and geographical terrains, and proven managerial experience in the mining industry.
Ed's career includes Manager of Mineral Resources for the Boise Cascade Corporation for the period 1983 to 1999. His accomplishments included the discovery of a significant underground gold resource in Washington State, development of sand and gravel operations, and oversight of numerous oil and gas leases. Other career highlights include geologic work for Kennecott Copper Company on their Ok Tedi copper-gold mine located in Papua New Guinea and as Chief Geologist for the Duval Corporation at their Battle Mountain, Nevada copper-gold mine.
Ed has a MS in Geology from the University of Wyoming. He currently has his own exploration company located in Idaho City. |
