Dr. Edward F. Sherry is a senior managing economist in the Emeryville, CA office. He completed his undergraduate studies in philosophy and political science at Stanford University, his law studies at Stanford Law School, and his graduate studies in economics at Stanford University. Prior to joining LECG in 1994, Edward taught at Stanford and Tulane University. He is a member of the California Bar.
Dr. Sherry specializes in the application of economic analysis to complex issues at the interface of law and economics. He has particular expertise in intellectual property (including patent, copyright and trade secret damages), antitrust, and public policy issues. He has served as a consultant for the New Zealand Treasury and for several Fortune 100 corporations. His litigation-related engagements involve a wide range of industries, from soft drinks and Internet music to semiconductor manufacturing equipment and biotechnology. |
