Spector Gadon & Rosen Director Edward G. Fitzgerald, who possesses over 35 years of legal expertise, has developed a reputation as a seasoned expert in banking, corporate and real estate law. Mr. Fitzgerald is best known for his sensible approach and in-depth understanding of the banking and real estate industries. With that knowledge, he provides clients with practical and creative solutions to complex issues. Drawing on his experience in these fields, Mr. Fitzgerald has lectured at Villanova University's School of Commerce and Finance and Temple University's Paralegal Institute. He also lectures to groups of attorneys on the topics of corporate and real estate law, workouts, bankruptcy law, ethics and professionalism. Mr. Fitzgerald has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Florida, the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations. Mr. Fitzgerald is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association. He was previously Chairman of the Lawyers Assistance Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and serves as a member of the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association and was previously chairman of its Bankruptcy Subcommittee. Mr. Fitzgerald also participated in authoring the American Bar Association's compendium on mortgage foreclosures. He serves on the Board of Directors of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Inc. and Eagleville Hospital, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Drug Free Pennsylvania and Lutheran Children and Family Services. A magna cum laude graduate of Providence College, Mr. Fitzgerald received his J.D. with cum laude honors from Villanova University, where he was an editor of the Villanova University Law Review. |
