Mr. Kelly is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercantile Bankshares Corporation ("Mercantile"). Mr. Kelly has held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercantile since March 2001 and the position of Chairman since March 2003.
Previously, Mr. Kelly was appointed to the positions of Managing Director, head of the Global Financial Institutions group and co-head of the Investment Banking Client Management group at JP Morgan Chase upon the merger of JP Morgan and Chase in December 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Kelly held a number of senior executive positions with JP Morgan, including head, Global Financial Institutions, from February 2000 to December 2000. He also served as a member of the Global Investment Banking Management Committee from December 1997 to December 2000.
Mr. Kelly is a member of the Boards of Directors of Mercantile and CSX Corporation. |
