Mr. Erickson has more than 20 years of experience in life sciences industry executive management. He currently is Chairman of the Board of Immunicon Corporation a publicly traded medical products company with advanced cell separation and analysis technology for use in diagnostics pharmaceutical development and life-science research.
As President and CEO of DepoTech Corporation a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company in the drug delivery field he grew the company from fewer than 20 to more than 160 employees and closed two major corporate partnering deals. In the same capacity at Cholestech Corporation he carried out a successful turnaround and refocused the company into a fully integrated diagnostics company with development manufacturing and sales and marketing. The IPO he completed in 1992 was one of the top 10 best performing IPOs of that year.
He is a member of the board of directors of several life sciences companies and a trustee of the New Jersey Center for the Life Sciences. He holds bachelor�s and master�s degrees in mathematics with secondary concentration in physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and he earned an MBA with high distinction in general management from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
