Edward M. Bixler is the founder and Managing Partner of BCC Capital Partners LLC. Prior to founding BCC, Mr. Bixler was Executive Vice President of one of the largest investment banking/merger and acquisition firms in the nation, where he was instrumental in the sale of various middle market companies. Before becoming involved in mergers & acquisitions, Mr. Bixler owned a telecommunications company, which he sold to a large telecommunications equipment manufacturer.
Mr. Bixler's corporate experience includes having served as Vice President Finance for American Telecom, a leading international telecommunications company, Corporate Controller and Vice President Finance and Administration of the U.S. operations of Monier, Ltd., a multi-national company and Division Controller as well as Vice President Finance of a leading subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox, a Fortune 100 company.
Mr. Bixler holds a B.S.B.A. from Bowling Green State University and an M.B.A. from Ohio University at Akron. He is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) in California and has successfully completed the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) examination.
Mr. Bixler is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Rim Investment and Trade Association, past member of the ESOP Association Valuation Advisory Committee, past Chairman of the Small Business Forum of the California Chamber of Commerce and is the author or contributing author of a number of published articles and authoritative works including the Corporate Controller's Handbook. |
