Before joining Seven Hills, Ed spent five years as a Managing Director of Broadview International where he completed transactions for communications, enterprise software, and semiconductor companies. With more than 25 years of experience as a lawyer specializing in financial transactions and strategic legal advice for high-technology growth companies, he acted as lead counsel on all 19 of Cisco Systems' acquisitions completed prior to his joining Broadview International, including its $4.5 billion acquisition of StrataCom in 1996. As a banker and a lawyer, Ed has advised on well over 100 M&A transactions and hundreds of financial transactions. Before joining Broadview International in 1997, he was with Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, co-founding Brobeck's Palo Alto office. Ed earned a JD degree from Stanford University Law School and a BA degree from Yale University. |
