Ed has concentrated his practice in commercial disputes and litigation, including contracts, lender liability, secured transactions, securities, business torts and real property cases. Ed has practiced in state and federal courts, and before government agencies. He has tried numerous lawsuits both in bench trials and to juries and has managed teams of lawyers and paraprofessionals in large, complex cases. Ed has also negotiated and drafted complex loan agreements and workout agreements involving many millions of dollars with commercial and real property collateral. Ed also has significant experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceedings, both representing disputing parties and as a mediator or arbitrator. He has been a Rule 39.1 mediator (a local federal court rule providing for assignment of cases by judges to private attorneys for mediation) and a private arbitrator and mediator. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Litigation Panel and is a qualified LR 39.1 mediator.
