Edward W. Tracy, Jr. is an attorney in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group focusing on patent prosecution. Before attending law school, Mr. Tracy was an engineer at Raytheon Electronic Systems in Massachusetts. At Raytheon, he worked on simulation and control software for missile defense systems including active and semi-active radar and optical sensors. After law school, Mr. Tracy worked at a small patent prosecution firm where he prosecuted applications for mechanical, electromechanical, optical, and software inventions.
Mr. Tracy received his Law degree from Boston College Law School in 2001. He received a Master of Science degree in Physics from Indiana University in 1994. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, with honors, from Purdue University in 1992.
Mr. Tracy is admitted to the Virginia and New York State Bars and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. |
