Mr. Unkart has served on the company's board since the completion of its initial public offering in 2004. He is the vice president of Finance and Administration, chief financial officer and assistant secretary of SurgRx, Inc., a company that designs and develops smart electrode technology. From 2001 to 2004, he served as vice president of Finance and Administration, chief financial officer and assistant secretary of Novacept, Inc., a company that designs, develops and sells medical devices for women's healthcare, which was acquired by Cytyc Corporation. From 1999 to 2001, he was vice president of Finance and Administration, chief financial officer and secretary of Praxon, Inc., a manufacturer of small business telephone systems. From 1995 to 1998, he was vice president of Finance and Administration, chief financial officer and assistant secretary of FemRx, Inc., a publicly held women's healthcare company that was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Unkart is a certified public accountant and holds both a B.S. degree in Statistics and an M.B.A. degree from Stanford University. |
