Edward Gott - Director of Business Development Ed recently joined iCST as Director of Business Development. He has over 25 years in the Information Technology marketplace, previously working for Keane, Inc. and Unisys. Ed has always been based in Maine and has sold IT services to state and local goverments as well as commercial clients throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. One highlight of his career was leading the effort to land the largest software development contract for Keane in its history. The project team built the Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES) for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. The ACES system was recently recognized by The Computerworld Magazine Honors Program as a 2007 Laureate, "Honoring those who use information technology to benefit society". Ed tries to bring that kind of success to each of his clients. Ed graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Business Management many years ago. He ran on the track team, captaining the team his junior and senior years, and setting three UMaine records and one conference record in the Mile Relay. Ed is married to Debbie, who is a teacher at Mahoney Middle School in South Portland. Thogether they have three grown children, Betsy, Ted and Tom. Ed still runs, occasionally plays golf and enjoys getting around to see everything Maine has to offer. |
