Dr Poole is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. After graduating from the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr Poole was a surgical intern at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He then returned to the University of Kansas as a surgical resident and subsequently transferred to pathology. Dr Poole completed both a residency and fellowship in surgical pathology and cytology. He joined the UroCor division of DIANON Systems in the fall of 1994. He has seen more than 120,000 prostate biopsies and has contributed to articles regarding suspicious focus on prostate needle biopsy and twelve-core needle biopsy sampling. He is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists. |
