Edward Rabe, M.D., Ph.D., serves as Psychiatric Consultant with the Educational Assessment Center. He is Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard Vanguard and is the Chief of Behavioral Health at Harvard Vanguard�s Kenmore and Peabody Offices. Dr. Rabe received a Doctorate in Psychology from Brown University, and has done postdoctoral work at Yale University and the Universite Claude Bernard, Lyon, France. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine and received his training in psychiatry at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and at Children�s Hospital in Boston. After his training, he provided psychiatric evaluations for patients at the Learning Disabilities Clinic at Children�s Hospital. He has served as Medical Director of Bournewood Hospital, Director of Psychiatric Services at Boston Regional Medical Center, and Chairman and Director, Saint Francis Care Behavioral Health, Hartford, Connecticut. His clinical interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, psychopharmacology, developmental disabilities, and forensic psychiatry.
