Mr. Raffoni has extensive experience in the areas of leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations as well as mezzanine and high-yield investing. Prior to joining Downer & Company, Mr. Raffoni worked in the mezzanine and high-yield investing group of a top-tier private investment firm. He has also worked as an investment banking analyst in the leveraged finance group of a large U.S. investment bank. Over the course of his career, Mr. Raffoni has been involved in numerous transactions involving companies in the United States and Canada. He has particular knowledge of the wireless telecommunications, heavy equipment rental, aerospace and defense, automotive supply, and cable television sectors. Mr. Raffoni is a graduate of Boston University's Undergraduate School of Management, where he was a Cardinal Medeiros Scholar and captain of the 1996 varsity football team. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from Boston University. Mr. Raffoni has a basic knowledge of Spanish. |
