Mr. Stark is the Principal in our Novato office and serves as advisor to the Suhr Risk Board of Directors. Mr. Stark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Science in Operations, Research and Statistics from California State University, Long Beach. In addition, he obtained his Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Insurance from Golden Gate University. After several years as a company underwriter, he moved to the agency and brokerage side of the industry. Mr. Stark was a Senior Vice President for a national firm for over 16 years before joining Suhr Risk Services in 1987. He has a tremendous commitment to the industry having served as President of the Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West, the Northern California CPCU Chapter, the San Francisco Insurance Forum, the Novato Chamber of Commerce, the North Bay Ecumenical Council Board of Directors, the Novato Youth Center Board of Directors and the Novato Human Needs Board of Directors. Mr. Stark was also named the Insurance Person of the Year by the Santa Clara Chapter of CPCU. Throughout his career, Mr. Stark has worked closely with Nonprofit Organizations and currently insures over 400 nonprofit organizations nationally. |
