Mr. Wagner joined the corporation in 1999 when SatCon acquired the intellectual property and assets of the Northrop Grumman Electric Vehicle Group where he was employed at the time. At Northrop Grumman Mr. Wagner worked in the area of heavy-duty electric and hybrid-electric power trains for transit and school buses and the associated grid-connected infrastructure. Prior to his electric vehicle work Mr. Wagner was involved in the development of Underwater Electronic Systems and Acoustic Imaging at Northrop Grumman/Westinghouse. His experience includes power electronics signal conditioning data acquisition digital design microprocessors and programming. Mr. Wagner received BSEE and MSEE degrees from Lehigh University. He is a member of the Steering Committee for the EPRI National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Working Council and serves on the Industrial Advisory Board of the Florida State University Center for Advanced Power Systems. Mr. Wagner is a Professional Engineer and a member of the NSPE IEEE and Navy League. |
