Ed assists in supervising Hall & Evans' Insurance Practice Section and provides advice on insurance coverage matters, and has manuscripted insurance coverage forms for directors and officers, property, crime and computer fraud coverages. He also litigates bad faith and coverage-related matters, gives seminars and speeches on the topic of bad faith and coverage issues. Ed also defends and monitors class actions regarding directors and officers liability and insurance coverage claims. Ed also litigates products liability, and professional malpractice claims. He has tried to conclusion numerous high-exposure injury claims involving claims for death, quadriplegia, paraplegia, and complex economic loss. He has deposed and developed expert witnesses in a large number of areas. Ed was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1965 and is admitted before all state courts, the United States District Court, District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1965 and his Bachelor of Arts from Claremont Men's College in 1962. |
