Mr. Tan joined Prospect in September 2007, and focuses on due diligence and monitoring of mezzanine finance and equity investments for the firm, as well as the evaluation of new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Tan worked three years at RFE Investment Partners, a middle market private equity firm. At RFE, Mr. Tan evaluated and performed due diligence on control investment opportunities and had portfolio monitoring responsibilities. Before joining RFE, Mr. Tan spent two years in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at First Union Securities.
Mr. Tan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BSE and MSE in Bioengineering, and received his MBA with High Honors from The University of Chicago. |
