Ed Crooks joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2007 as a Managing Director with the Global Infrastructure and Projects Group. Ed and his team are responsible for providing advisory services to public and private sector clients seeking to develop and finance major infrastructure projects using public-private partnerships. These advisory services encompass project development, structuring, financing, and procurement.
Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, Ed was Vice President of Bechtel Enterprises Holdings, the finance, development, and investment arm of the Bechtel Group, where he was involved in a variety of project development and limited recourse financing activities as well as corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Prior to joining Bechtel, he was a project engineer for a consulting civil engineering firm. Ed has extensive experience in transportation infrastructure projects and includes commercial structuring, forming development joint ventures, financial analysis, arranging limited recourse financing, and managing public-private partnerships. He also possesses project experience in water and wastewater, airports, natural resources, power, toll roads, and commuter rail throughout Russia, Poland, Bolivia, the United Kingdom, China, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Romania, Argentina, Italy, and the United States.
Ed holds an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago, a B.A. degree in Psychology from Indiana University, and an Associate of Applied Science degree from Purdue University. He is also a registered professional engineer in Texas. |
