Egon Matijevic is the Victor K. LaMer Professor of Colloid and Surface Science at Clarkson University. He has been at Clarkson University for over 40 years and has served during his tenure in a variety of positions including Chairman of the Department of Chemistry and Director of the Institute of Colloid and Surface Chemistry. Dr. Matejevic has hundreds of professional publications to his credit. He has received numerous professional awards and has been granted honorary or lifetime membership in professional associations around the world including the Materials Research Society of Japan, Italian Academy of Ceramics, Croatian Chemical Society, German Kolloic Gesellschaft and the American Ceramic Society. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Zagreb and has received Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Science from Lehigh University, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (Poland), Clarkson University and the National University of San Martin (Argentina). |
