Ehsan Rashid serves as Virage Logic�s vice president of operations where he is responsible for the company�s global operations.
Prior to joining Virage Logic in April 2003, Rashid served as senior vice president and general manager, Access Product Division, at Com21, Inc., an OEM of Broadband Infrastructure Equipment (Cable Modem, and CMTS) for the cable industry.
From December 1997 to May 1999, Rashid served as senior director of hardware and software engineering, and system applications, in the Consumer Digital Entertainment Division of VLSI Technology. When VLSI was acquired by Philips Semiconductor in May 1999, Rashid became responsible for all set-top box chipset development for Philips Semiconductor in the US.
Prior to VLSI/Philips, Rashid served as the director of engineering at Hitachi Micro Systems, Inc., and spent over 8 years at Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company in various technical and management roles related to HP's microprocessor and computer systems businesses.
Rashid holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. |
