Eleana Giabana, General Manager of Boyden Athens, has an M.A. in Communications Science, Political Science and Sociology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet in Munich. She also has a Certificate in HR Management from Cornell University of Industrial and Labor Relations in New York.
Eleana has been with Boyden Athens since 2001. She has actively contributed to the restructuring and reorganization of the office. Additionally since joining, she has been actively involved in the successful placement of approximately 200 executives in middle and upper level management positions.
Prior to joining Boyden Athens, Eleana worked for Vodafone Greece for 4 years, initially holding the position of the company's Media Relations Manager and then as the Corporate Communications Manager of the Group. From her position, Eleana had the responsibility for the development and the implementation of the communication strategy of the Group while she also participated very actively in the company's internal reengineering, setting up job profiles and hiring new people to create a new communications team.
Before joining Vodafone, Eleana worked for Attiko Metro S.A., the company responsible for the construction of the Athenian Metro. Being one of the first employees of the company, she experienced the company's start-up and participated in the recruitment of the new people for the PR Department. During her employment, she participated in the development and implementation of the communication strategy while actively being involved in all company's actions towards governmental authorities and the public.
Eleana speaks Greek as her mother language while she also speaks English and German fluently.
