Profile:
Eli Leenaars was appointed member of the Executive Board of ING Group in April 2004. He is responsible for Retail Banking (the Netherlands, Belgium, South-West Europe, Poland and India). He is also in charge of Operations/IT and private banking. Mr. Leenaars began his career with ING Bank in 1991 and later held various management positions, including chairman of ING Poland and of ING Latin America.
Education:
Eli Leenaars graduated with a Master�s degree in Dutch law from the Catholic University of Nijmegen (the Netherlands) and a LL.M from the European University Institute in Florence. He also completed a programme for management development at Harvard Business School in Boston.
