Spirer joined Retalix as a programmer, when the company was founded in 1982. He was made Manager of Development for the Israeli market in 1987, and in 1992 was promoted to VP International Development. After transferring to the United States in 1996 and serving four years as VP Strategic Development, managing supermarket business and strategic alliances, he was made VP Customer Services in May, 2000. After serving in the Israeli Defense Forces from 1974 to 1977, Spirer graduated from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in 1981. |
