Eli Sternheim has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, management, entrepreneurship, business and investment. In 1991 Dr. Sternheim co-founded interHDL, a software electronic design automation (EDA) company where he was the President and CEO. He wrote the book "Digital Design and Synthesis with Verilog HDL" and served as the chairman of the Architectural Committee for Open Verilog International (OVI). In 1998, interHDL was sold to Avant! corporation. Dr. Sternheim worked at the Westinghouse R&D center before moving to Silicon Valley. Here he has worked for a few startups, such as Trilogy, Zoran and Nexgen (later went public and was acquired by AMD). Since 1995 Dr. Sternheim has also been an angel investor investing in high-tech startups and currently holds a portfolio of a few dozen companies.
Dr. Sternheim received his B.Sc. in EE from the Technion in 1969, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in EE from Carnegie Mellon University in 1971 and 1974, respectively. |
