Born and raised in Chicago, Eliane just couldn�t bring herself to leave the Midwest. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!!) and graduated in 1999 with a degree in journalism, a focus in advertising and a minor in graphic design. After a short stint in the advertising world, Eliane decided to move on to magazine publishing. Before joining Imagination Publishing in March 2006, she served in several creative roles within Chicago�s advertising and publishing communities. In a dual position, she spent 4.5 years as an associate art director at North Shore Magazine (a consumer lifestyle publication) and as an art director at Performance Media, with clients such as Lyric Opera of Chicago, Ravinia Festival and Northwestern University. Eliane is an experienced art director and designer who dares to daydream, feels free to rearrange the universe and wears something reflective when bicycling at night and thinking about life.
