With experience in a wide range of litigation-related matters, Elisa Nethercott represents clients in numerous complex disputes. Her representative clients come from various advanced technology industries (including medical device manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, computer software and electric power production) and she counsels them at trial and in government investigations. She also has represented individuals in employment litigation, and ERISA investigation.
Business crimes and government investigations is an area of particular emphasis in Elisa's practice. She represents corporate entities and individuals in federal and state regulatory, criminal and civil investigations. She has also conducted internal investigations at the request of corporate executives, boards, special committees and audit committees on subjects ranging from stock option practices to pharmaceutical sales and marketing practices.
In addition to her commercial litigation work, Elisa is active in client representation through Foley Hoag's Domestic Violence Prevention Program and through the firm's participation in the Volunteer Lawyers' Project. Before joining the firm Elisa interned at the United States Supreme Court.
