Elisha W. Finney has been serving as a corporate vice president and CFO since April 1999. In January 2005 she became a senior vice president overseeing all finance investor relations information systems and regulatory affairs functions. Ms. Finney joined Varian Associates in 1988 as a risk manager. She was named corporate treasurer in March 1998 managing a staff responsible for domestic and international banking foreign exchange corporate finance credit and stock administration activities.
Prior to her arrival at Varian she worked in risk management with the Fox Group in Foster City Calif. and Beatrice Foods in Chicago Illinois. She holds a BA degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business as well as an MBA degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. |
