Ms. Elizabeth Mathieson is a Managing Scientist with an M.S. in Engineering Geology from Stanford University and an A.B. in Geological Sciences from Harvard University. Ms. Mathieson is active in Exponent's Geotechnical Geological and Geomechanical (Geo3) Group within the Civil Engineering Practice Area. She specializes in landslides and debris flow investigation fault investigations hazard mapping and third party reviews for public agencies. She has experience testifying on engineering geology issues. Prior to joining Exponent Elizabeth Mathieson spent more than 17 years in engineering geologic consulting. Her most recent positions were as Principal Geologist of D & M Consulting Engineers (formerly Terratech Inc.). She supplements her consulting practice by serving as chairperson of the Enforcement Oversight Committee of the California State Board of Registration for Geologists and Geophysicsists and holding leadership positions in the Association of Engineering Geologists and the California Council of Geoscience Organizations. |
