Elizabeth Pierce Kuhn Business Litigation/Employment Law
Ms. Kuhn earned her B.A. in Speech Communication from Miami University in 2002, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. from Capital University Law School in May 2006, Order of the Curia.
During law school, Ms. Kuhn was an oralist for the Jessup International Law Moot Court team. She is a recipient of the Moot Court Board Award for Excellence in Advocacy and the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Drafting. During law school, she also served as an extern to The Honorable George C. Smith of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, as a legislative intern to State Representative Derrick Seaver, and as a research assistant to Professor Mark Brown and Professor Kent Markus and the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy.
Ms. Kuhn's practice concentrates in counseling and representing clients in a variety of employment and general litigation matters. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law and Common Pleas Court committees), the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is a volunteer for the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy at Capital University Law School and Central Ohio Good Shepherds as a therapy dog facilitator.
