Elliot Stein is a founding principal and President of Actionable Research.
Mr. Stein developed Actionable Research's Visible Performance methodology during his 20 years as a COO and Vice President of Global Operations for a number of large multi-national corporations. Mr. Stein has held senior management roles in a wide variety of industries, including textiles, chemicals, primary metals, coatings and sealants, plastics, and aerospace.
He has been responsible for operating units in such diverse locations as Saudi Arabia and Singapore, as well as several European, pan-Asian, South American and domestic units. He is currently authoring a book to be titled Creating the Transparent Company, and has been a featured speaker at the Institute for Internal Audit, American Production and Inventory Control Society, TEC, and American Management Association. He was also a co-developer of the first MRP II package designed for process (vs. discrete) industries. Mr. Stein's background is in manufacturing and supply chain management. Mr. Stein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Duke University, and holds a graduate degree in Finance and Strategic Planning. |
