Elliott M. Buckner Elliott received a B.B.A. from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond in 1993, and his J.D. from the College of William and Mary School of Law in 2000. While at William and Mary, he was a member of the Moot Court team and elected to the Order of Barristers. Elliott was a member of the team which won the 1999-2000 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, which included 107 teams from law schools nationwide. Upon graduation he was awarded a Dean�s Certificate for contributions to the law school community. Prior to joining Cantor, Arkema in 2002, Elliott was an associate at the Richmond law firm of Harman, Claytor, Corrigan & Wellman, where his practice involved the defense of personal injury cases for insurance companies. During this time, Elliott defended cases involving almost every type of accident, personal injuries and wrongful deaths, and insurance coverage disputes. Having made the career move to representing injured persons, Elliott�s prior experience gives him a unique perspective which is invaluable to the clients he represents. Elliott thoroughly enjoys his plaintiff�s practice and is passionately committed to each and every one of his clients.
