Mr. Roston has 40 years of legal experience in the field of intellectual property. He was associated with the law firm of Smyth, Roston & Pavitt from 1955-1976. Then, Mr. Roston opened the law firm of Roston and Schwartz from 1977-1999. He is presently of counsel for the patent firm of Fulwider, Patton, Lee & Utecht, LLP. One of the founders of Brooktree Corporation, Mr.Roston served on its board for 15 years until the company was acquired in 1997 by Rockwell International for approximately $400 million dollars. Following Brooktree, Mr. Roston served on the Board of Directors for Sargent Industries for four years. Sargent was sold to Dover Corporation (NYSE) in 1979 for approximately $100 million. Mr. Roston served on the Board of Directors of Dome Corporation in Boston, MA for 10 years which was sold to Planar Industries (NASDAQ) for $75 million in 2002. He served four years on the Board of Rokenbok Corporation in San Diego. He also served on the Board of Directors for NetGram Corporation from 1996 until March 2004.
