Mr. Wong is the technical quarterback of Sonic's wireless and internet efforts. Emerson also cofounded and served as Chief Technology Officer of communityMe.com, a venture which placed all of a person's offline and online content and services at a single web site, branded with the user's own name as the web site address. He saw this venture from start-up through acquisition by a U.K. sports fan network. While an undergraduate at Columbia University's School of Engineering, Mr. Wong launched SayStuff.com, a moderated-format user-driven bulletin board destination site. Mr. Wong's previous Internet venture, ReadingWrite.com, was a transaction and information site providing online creative writing courses to amateurs and professionals in the field. Mr. Wong also spent two years implementing advanced equities and derivatives trading strategies with Van Buren Capital, LLC. Mr. Wong enjoys partaking in photography, screenplays, creative writing, bicycling, and various fitness activities, and speaks conversational Italian and Spanish.
