Current responsibility
Emil is an associate actuary experienced in the design and implementation of systems executing complex rating and underwriting methodologies. He is currently working on rating and hospital contracting software initiatives within the Seattle Health practice and has been with Milliman since 1996.
Experience
Emil has successfully managed the design and development of software used for product pricing and proposal management within healthcare, property and casualty, and life insurance. Emil's project experience includes the design, development, and deployment of the following applications:
Web-based rating, underwriting, and proposal management systems for healthcare, property and casualty, and life insurance companies
A web-based, automated authorization expert system
Document management systems that have increased productivity as much as ten-fold
Complex data codifying routines for use with Milliman's MedInsight (r) data warehouse product
An enterprise-scale experience-rating system used to rate and underwrite a billion-dollar book of premium
Leading the development, integration, and software implementation of many other projects
In addition to project work, Emil performs ongoing research and development.
