Emilia is a research analyst at KLD covering the social and environmental impacts of companies in the Utilities sector. As research manager for KLD's Global Climate 100 Index (GC100), Emilia also provides research on potential additions to the GC100 and relevant climate change issues. Prior to working as an analyst, Emilia was Communications Coordinator in KLD's Marketing Department. Emilia works from Portland, OR.
Emilia holds a B.A. in International Studies at Middlebury College with a concentration in Latin America and Political Science. Her junior year, she studied abroad at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. During that year, she interned at the NGO Poder Ciudadano, the local chapter of Transparency International, where she researched campaign finance in the 2002 presidential elections. Emilia also interned at the National Senate of Argentina where she researched and compared governments worldwide that had modernized their legislative branches. She is fluent in Spanish. |
