Emily tracks legislation and manages lobbying reports for Capstrat. She also serves on our teams for Land for Tomorrow, Quintiles, Lenovo, FreedomPoint, Concord/Kannapolis and the North Carolina Research Campus. Emily previously worked at the N.C. Forum for Research and Economic Education (NCFREE), where she conducted political research. Her research contributed to NCFREE�s political briefings, SAC briefings and publications analyzing the relationship between business and government. Emily was also was responsible for tracking the finances of each statewide candidate, writing weekly Executive Keys and assisting with the publication of the N.C. Almanac of Politics. Emily graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in public policy and a certificate in sociology. There, she was involved with the President�s Scholarship Program and various research projects, most notably a study evaluating the risk perception of vaccines. |
