Since working in her Dads garage, Emily always knew she would be around cars when she grew up. A writer and creative-thinker by choice and a PR professional by trade, Emily figured there was no better place to start her career than in the Motor City itself. She has been spinning tires and revving engines in one way or another ever since.
At John Bailey & Associates, Emily coordinates the day-to-day activities with International Automotive Components, Honigman, Miller, Schwartz and Cohn and Automotive Youth Education Systems (AYES).
Her first foray into PR found Emily in the drivers seat as part of Ford Motor Companys public affairs team in Chicago. She moved to Michigan after graduating college to work at the hub of Fords activity, peaking with a stint in their Product Development Public Affairs area launching products like the 2004 F-150 and promoting positive news coverage for the company on a daily basis.
Emily earned her bachelors degree in English from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. While her dream was to be a feature writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, she finds herself comfortable in the confines of the fun-loving group at JB&A while still dabbling as a freelance journalist.
After joining JB&A, Emily broadened her professional affiliations by becoming a member of PRSA and the Inforum.
When not feasting on sushi or road-tripping back to the Windy City, Emily resides in Royal Oak, Mich., with her husband, Marc.
